Job Description:
Develop and provide new applications or enhance legacy web applications and databases that operate on Microsoft- and Linux-based technologies and tools. Work with program office and the office of information technology to support migration of legacy applications to FAA Cloud Services using Amazon or Microsoft cloud solutions. Ensure that the business applications fully integrate with Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) products used to support the Identity Management System and case management systems. Development services must include development and adherence to existing and evolving development standards for web applications and cloud applications used with FAA cloud services. Applications and websites must be developed using the industry standard software or the standards adopted by FAA for secure web development.
Minimum Qualifications:
Fifteen years of technical experience, two years of management experience.
Minimum Education: BA/BS in Computer Science or related field.
Certifications/Other Requirements: MCSE 2003 Certification, CCNA Certification, Experience working with MS 2008 servers in Troubleshooting, administering, configuring, installation, patching, backup and recovery. Extensive experience in security systems engineering; Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, Intrusion Detection, Encryption. Extensive experience in data center management, Windows Server Clustering, SQL Server 2008 or 2012, NetIQ, web application hosting, F5, VMWare, VCenter, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Operations Manager.
